Who are Expedia and HomeAway?

Over the past 13 years, they made many acquisition in the industry, becoming one of the largest group of booking portals for private accommodation rentals in the world. Expedia on the other hand is a booking portal that until now had mostly hotel accommodation in they portfolio, but are growing fast in the short rental industry, by number of nights sold as a group, is certainly one of the largest booking portals in the world. At this moment they combine various services beside accommodatio such as flights, car rentals, cruise ships ecc...

Since year 2016, HomeAway became part of the Expedia Group, from then they have achieved really amazing results and become one of the leading booking portals.
